In 2008 Nick was invited by Greg Kitchens, Mark Featherston, and a group named
2nd Mile Adventures (from Winona Lake Indiana) to ride mountain bikes on part of the 2,700 mile
Great Divide Ride trail.

After a few years of planning we chose August 17th, 2012 for the 1st leg of the adventure. My brother, Lowell Hancock (from Denver CO) and good friends Jim Sunderman and Chris Settlemyre (Red) and myself are planning to ride North from Denver CO towards Canada.
We will ride as far as we can in 7 days then mark that spot as the beginning location for the 2nd leg of the adventure.
